Water Ecology & Quality Workshop

May 29 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Expand your knowledge of river ecology and water quality issues while trying out monitoring techniques at our Water Ecology & Quality Workshop on Wednesday, May 29 from 6:30pm-8pm at Munsee Woods. Led by Delaware County’s Hoosier Riverwatch trainer, the workshop will show you how to identify the biological, chemical, and physical characteristics of a stream and the ways they relate to water quality and ecosystem health.

No prior knowledge or experience is required. Registrants must be 18+ years old.

If you would like to apply your new interest in water quality, Upper White River Watershed Management Plan invites you attend a full training later in the year to become a certified Hoosier Riverwatch volunteer and contribute to a statewide database.

A $10 registration fee* covers in-class water testing materials, printouts, and snacks.
