CANCELED – Habitat Restoration Volunteer Workday

Our team has made the difficult decision to cancel this event due to inclement weather. We greatly appreciate your generosity in sharing your time and talents with us.

We are offering another volunteer event, Pulling for Bats, on Sunday, October 20^th from 1-3pm at Munsee Woods. We invite you to register for our October event if you are still interested in volunteering!

Volunteer to vanquish invasive weeds and be a habitat hero!  Join Red-tail Land Conservancy on Saturday, September 28th from 10am-12pm to cut down honeysuckle and other invasive weeds and help restore the beautiful forest in Munsee Woods.

• What to wear: Please wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy closed-toed shoes. Hats are recommended.
• Directions and Parking: 5701 S 475 E Rd, Selma, IN 47383. There is a 1/2 mile gravel road before the grass parking area.
• What to bring: Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. If you have work gloves and loppers, we suggest you bring them. If not, loppers and disposable gloves will be provided.
• Age requirements: Because of the dense vegetation, this workday may not be suitable for young children.

Because of space limitations in the parking area, registration is required. Please let us know you are coming! If you represent a group, the registration form has a space to note how many people will attend.
