Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an award-winning international environmental education program designed for teachers, non-formal educators, home-school educators and others who work with students from pre-K through grade 12. Join us as we explore Indiana’s diverse forests and discover the many ways environmental education can fit into your classroom and enhance your students’ learning.
All participants will receive 6 Professional Growth Plan points and the Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Guide that includes 50 hands-on, multidisciplinary activities to connect children to nature and increase young people’s awareness and knowledge about their environment. During this workshop, participants will experience several PLT activities, learn how to integrate PLT into their classroom or program, and get connected to the PLT network at the state and national level.
