Habitat Restoration Volunteer Workday *FULL*

Volunteer to vanquish invasive weeds and be a habitat hero!  Join Red-tail Land Conservancy on Saturday, September 30th from 10am-12pm to cut down honeysuckle and other invasive weeds and help restore the beautiful forest in McVey Memorial Forest near Farmland, IN.

  • What to wear: Please wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy closed-toed shoes. Hats are recommended.
  • Parking: This event will take place at the parking area off Hwy 1 at 7178 IN-1, Ridgeville, IN 47380
  • What to bring: Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. If you have work gloves and loppers, we suggest you bring them. If not, loppers and disposable gloves will be provided.
  • Age requirements: Because of the dense vegetation, this workday is not suitable for young children.

Because of space limitations in the parking area, registration is required. Please let us know you are coming! If you represent a group, the registration form has a space to note how many people will attend.
