“Opt Outside” Hike

#OptOutside is a nationwide movement to venture outdoors instead of spending the day shopping on Black Friday. After the joys of Thanksgiving when you connect with family and friends, why not take time to connect with nature?
Join your friends at Red-tail Land Conservancy on Friday, November 29 anytime between 1-4pm at Red-tail Nature Preserve for an afternoon of unguided wandering, wondering, and discovery.
At this nature preserve, you’ll see and hear signs of wildlife, walk through crunchy fallen leaves, and enjoy the quiet stillness of a natural landscape settling down for winter.
From 1pm-4pm, Red-tail’s team members will be on site to share more information about our nature preserves.
This all ages event is free. No registration is necessary, just show up at your leisure and prepare to be amazed.
Parking at this nature preserve is limited. Please plan to carpool if you’re coming as part of a group, or access this preserve from the Cardinal Greenway.
