As part of Hoosier Environmental Council and Mounds Greenway’s 2020 Virtual Anderson Riverside Walks & Talks, Red-tail Land Conservancy will be hosting an online class:
Journaling is a powerful tool. It sharpens observation skills, unleashes creativity and imagination, and deepens emotional and physical connections with life all around us. Whether it’s sketching, essays, pressing flowers, or making lists, nature journaling is simultaneously calming and energizing. This class will give you ideas and tools on how to begin a nature journal in any outdoor environment with time for practice and discussion.
Instructor: Kelley V Phillips, Outreach Coordinator
Participants can prepare by having something to write on and something to write with for this class. It doesn’t need to be an official nature journal, just materials to get ideas flowing.
