I was born and raised in Delaware County in and around Muncie, IN. I am a recent graduate of Ball State University where I majored in Biology with concentrations in Wildlife Biology and Conservation, Field Botany, and Zoology. Ever since I was a little kid I’ve had a huge appreciation for nature and the outdoors. As I learned more I became more and more determined to do something to help the planet and our native ecosystems.
When I heard about the new position opening up at Red-tail Land Conservancy I was immediately excited. I knew that that was exactly what I was looking for – a way to get hands on and actively work to counteract the negative impacts of humans on the environment and promote a more positive impact through conservation and restoration work. I look forward to my days of garlic mustard pulling and bush-honeysuckle cutting as a member of the Red-tail team and I can’t wait to help bring about positive change in our local ecosystems!
